I love dressing up and going out on the town so with holiday party season is starting this weekend I am looking forward to an excuse for adding some extra glitz and glitter to my evenings.
One of my favorite places to start planning my outfits is Rent The Runway. Their huge selection of designer dresses allows me to wear dresses I would never personally buy, for the same price as cleaning something I already own.
I’ve been a customer for years, and this year I decided to up to the pro subscription so that I would receive free shipping, insurance and a birthday dress complimentary with membership. I haven’t had as many reasons to dress up this year, but so far I’ve rented dresses for a fundraiser event, BlogHer, and will be borrowing a few holiday party options before the year is though. If you are interested in trying Rent The Runway out for yourself, use this link to receive 20% off your first purchase.
My sister Kat invited me to be her guest at her office holiday party this coming weekend. The key to dressing for any office party is selecting an item that is fun, trendy and still slightly professional. We all know how people talk about the woman who shows up with the tasteful side boob (never, side boob is never tasteful) for months to come.

In just a couple of weeks we will be joining Drew’s family for a traditional holiday dinner at one of the best steakhouses in Denver. Two years ago Drew proposed on the evening of the family dinner in the cigar room and its a fun restaurant to dress up for. As a family gathering I like looking fun but still tasteful. My style is a bit more classic, so this night is a fun time for me to channel my inner Audrey.
