You’ve Been Boozed Popcorn Box

Halloween is my favorite holiday and there’s nothing more fun than spreading some spooky Halloween joy to all of my neighbors. Although the day of treats is a few weeks away, there’s no reason to limit the goodies just to the kids. Booz’ing your neighbors is a fun tradition you can start up this year that everyone will enjoy.

I’ve joined up with a 50 other crafty bloggers to share how much fun you can have with a popcorn box from World Market, Felt from Kunin Group, Googly Eyes from Oriental Trading and a bit of imagination.  I’ve put together a Boozy gift box that I’ll be leaving on my neighbors doorstep later this evening!

Materials

How to make a You’ve Been Boozed Gift Box

Step 1: Trace the shape of the popcorn box onto your card stock.

Step 2: Cut around the edges.

Step 3: Use the glue stick to attach the card stock to your popcorn box.

Step 4:  Draw a ghost onto white felt with pen. The ghost doesn’t need to be perfect so I freehanded the design.

Step 5: Cut out the ghost and any additional decor elements you want to add. I created the word “Boo” out of Orange felt and an mouth out of black felt.

Step 6: Using a hot glue gun, attach the eyes and mouth to the ghost base. Glue to the popcorn box along with any other decor elements.

Step 7: Fill the box with basket filler and add your boooze

Step 8: Print out the You’ve been Boozed Poem and attach it to your box. Deliver in the middle of the night when the moon is high.

I hope you have fun Boozing with your neighbors! Start early in the month and you’ll be delighted to see all the ghosts that start popping up on porches around the block!
