If you’ve ever visited Colorado, you know that we live in a super dry climate. For a visitor, it’s something you can sense the moment you get off the plane. As a local, you get used to how dry the winters are, but it still takes a toll on your hands, nails and skin. I’m always looking for a solution for keeping my nails from breaking all winter long.
When I first heard of JollyBod, I was excited to find an all natural lotion made right in Colorado – made by people who understand the challenges of living in a dry area.
With five smells to choose from, I had a hard time picking my favorite scent. Most chemical free lotions don’t have a great smell, probably because scents are added using things that usually dry out your skin. Regular lotion has smells that are so heavy it sometimes feels like you put perfume on when all you wanted was to add a bit of moisture to your sink. JollyBod is the perfect medium, with a light smell that you can enjoy without knocking out the rest of the office.
They even have an unscented option that is truly completely without scent – the perfect gift for the guys in your life. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, now is the time to start thinking of gift ideas that aren’t bundled in tulle and dip dyed pink.
JollyBod has a couple of great options for guys, including the Fairly Bare Travelers lotion [perfect to keep at the office] and Lip Balm made with cocoa butter, sunflower oils and safflower oils. If you’re shopping for yourself (or leaving hints around the house for your husband), check out the Body Butter and Salt Scrub and treat yourself to a spa day!
In honor of Valentine’s Day, I’ve teamed up with the folks at JollyBod to give one lucky reader the chance to win a gift set of my favorite items from their line. Complete the entry form below and head over to the JollyBod Facebook or Instagram to earn additional entries. I’ll announce the winner on Facebook on 2/12!
Disclosure: I received a product sample from JollyBod in exchange for writing a review on Rocky Mountain Bliss. All opinions are my own.
