Disconnect and connect

In an increasingly connected world it is becoming more and more of a challenge to stop documenting life and start living it. Last month when we saw Boyz II Men in concert, I realized how hard it is to enjoy something and document it via social media at the same time. I had to consciously put the phone down, and away to remember that this is a live concert and experiencing the moment is so much more important then a fuzzy picture.

As a social media pro during my work day, staying connected and being on top of live events is key. With the holiday’s just around the corner I find myself needing to remember the life is not lived behind the screen of a camera or a phone.

This thought provoking video is a wonderful rminder of how disconnected we can become if we are constantly striving to connect.
