Coppertone Clearly Sheer

I’m pretty lucky when it comes to sun tans but as I’ve gotten older remembering to wear sunscreen has become a noticeable requirement.  Summer days out in the sun used to turn my olive skin into a golden brown without a sign of burn. As a result, my preference to avoid sunscreen all together has developed some bad habits. Now spending an entire day in the sun will typically result in some type of burn, although I am still pretty lucky and usually will tan within a couple of days.

Paying attention and remembering to put sunscreen is a challenge for me, so when I learned of the chance to try out the new Clearly Sheer from BzzAgent I decided to give it a try.

My biggest deterrent from wearing sunscreen is the feeling (heavy and sticky on my skin) and the smell (sweet and chemical).

The Clearly Sheer proved itself to be a lot different from the more traditional Coppertone products and had neither of these deterrents. The spray on version was very light and while it had a smell, it not overbearingly chemical. the travel version was the perfect size to put in my purse and made it easy for me to remember to both bring and wear sunscreen on a day out in the park.

The lotion version of the Clearly Sheer was a lot closer to it’s tradition sunscreen brothers and sisters in the smell, but after the product dried I did not feel like I was carrying around a weight of stickiness on my skin.

Overall I would definitely give Clearly Sheer another try and will consider buying it next time I’m in the market for sunscreen.

I received a sample of Coppertone Clearly Sheer from BzzAgent. All opinions are my own.
