Buying a home in the Denver housing market (crazy pants) is hard enough, but after we finished with the hunting and purchase process that took most of the fall we were left with the challenge of furnishing the house.
Our family room was somewhat of a tricky area to figure out, with only one direction th e furniture could go and very specific dimensions that didn’t seem to correspond to the typical size of sectional sofas.

I appreciate you sticking with me as I work through all the kinks in the blog, and would love your feedback and ideas.
As Rocky Mtn Bliss, I’ll be blogging about my Rocky Mountain Bliss, but would love to include the voices of others. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have an idea for a post or if you’d like to join as a guest blogger sharing your own Rocky Mtn Bliss story.
When I heard that the Denver Botanic Gardens was planning on bringing a Dale Chiluly exhibit in to display I knew that visiting the gardens had to be on my to do list for this summer. One of his most notable installations is the glass sculpture in the hotel lobby of the Bellagio. I saw another one of is touring exhibits [Venetians] a few years back at the Fort Collins Museum of Contemporary Art and was blow away to learn how many people work on his team bringing the more enormous art pieces to life.
Seeing the full installation in the gardens was like stepping directly into Alice in Wonderland.
We’ve been having a lot of discussions about Cause Related Marketing in my office and I wanted to share this new ad from Verizon that I love. Will it sell more cell phones? Maybe, but the goal of sharing that they have a commitment to women working in technology outweighs that need.
Love it.
