When we moved to the north Denver one of the things I struggled with initially was the sheer amount of chain restaurants that surround us. As the small businesses and restaurants have been heavily impacted by the COVID-19 social distancing measures I started keeping a list of the locally owned restaurants that I want to make sure to support with my takeout or delivery order.
I tried looking for a North Denver specific list but wasn’t having much luck so I created one of my own!
There are dozens of businesses being impacted by closures as a result of COVID-19 and supporting local North Denver restaurants like these will help ensure a wide variety of dining options for years to come.
As always, if you feel sick, stay home. Get contactless delivery but don’t expose anyone else.
All restaurant workers are being impacted equally, but locally owned businesses without chain support teams are the ones I am focusing on with this list. This is contains local Thornton and Westminster restaurants that are either owned or franchised by community residents

Don’t forget about our local breweries! Without food to do takeout it’s even more important to not only eat local, but drink that way as well. Pickup a growler to go with your dinner at one of these local north Denver breweries.
