While extremely necessary, grocery shopping can quickly become one of the last things I want to do. I just started a new job and as I’m getting settled into the role and commute, the less I have to think about at home the better.

Easy meals like Kielbasa with Perogies are my go to on work nights. I first discovered Niman Ranch when I was doing Whole 30 last year and since then they have become one of my favorite brands to cook with.

This is a one skillet meal. To get started, dice up some onion and toss it in a large skillet with preheated olive oil. Once the onion is translucent, add the sliced kielbasa and perogies.

Cook for 7-10 mins per side, flipping when the perogies are golden brown. If you are a sauerkraut fan you can add a jar in during the last 5 minutes of cooking, or make it in a pan on the side.

Saw you on FOX 31 news this morning. Why aren’t you putting water or broth in the instant pot. Without liquid there will be no pressure.

Hi Marilyn! Thank you for stopping by and watching. The marinade is 2/3 a cup of liquid which is enough for the pot to come up to pressure. Typically cooking from frozen adds approximately 1/3 of cup of broth as the chicken cooks so the total liquid is close to 1 cup when sauteing begins.

For reference, the recipe Marilyn is referring to is Easy Instant Pot Chicken Dinner. This recipe [Kielbasa & Perogies] is cooked on the stove.
